What is a PPD?
PPD stands for Personal Protection Dog.
Are PPDs safe ?
Yes they are, if trained correctly to a high standard.
What does Training include?
All of our training is based in Real Life scenarios and everywhere, so your dog can be ready anytime in any place.
From what age can you train a dog?
I train all dogs, breeds and sizes from 4+ months old.
What do you do in your assessment?
I ask you various questions about yourself, your routine and your pets routine. Including what problems you have with your pet, what training you and your dog require and if you have previous tried any training techniques. I also do protection assessment, please enquire for more information.
What is board and residential training?
Board and Residential Training is where I take your dog on board as if it was mine and teach the behaviours and commands that you require. Whether it be in protection or just obedience or both.
Do you provide guard dogs?
We provide a wide variety of personal protection and guard dogs all tailored to your needs.
If we leave our dog with you can we see your training?
Yes I provide regular updates to all clients that live residential with me
How long does it take to train a dog?
That’s a hard question to answer because every dog is different and every owners needs are different so length of time will be discussed with you after discussing your dogs individual needs. We will do regular updates and analysis throughout training to determine time intervals.
Where are you based?
I am based in south-east London however I also regularly train in Averly and Thurrock areas with other experienced trainers.
Are PPDs good around kids ?
All my PP dogs are around my children and it is mandatory that all PP dogs are good around kids. From kids touching them to loud noises i.e. screaming babies buggies kids and pedal bikes and many other things.
